About the owner, Lesley
I moved to Spain a year ago after living in the south of France for 40 years. I worked in Hospitality, the perfume industry, in the costume departments of films, theatre and Opera, created a line of children’s clothes, and also promoted films and TV programes at the festivals in Cannes for some 25 years. I then decided to change course by studying Holistic concepts and consequently obtained a Diploma in Chinese Medicine at the University of Nice. Along the way I became a practitioner/teacher of the Metamorphic Technique and practitioner of Quantum Touch. Following on from that I went to Belize to learn The Arvigo Techniques of Maya Abdominal Therapy and learnt how to gift the Munay-Ki rites.
I have also been interested in a more ecological way of living for years and finally have taken the step to put it into practice!! I look forward to welcoming you here.
Pam - Raw Food chef
I love living in the Alpujarras and have been here for 12 years. Because I’m a chef, I am so grateful for the local abundance of fruits, vegetables, nuts and olives which are so plentiful all year round due to our wonderful climate!
I am a Raw food Chef, an organic gardener, artist, singer, a Buddhist of 29 years and a yoga aficionado.
Due to ill health in my twenties I began an adventure with alternative foods. This led me to have a passionate interest in cuisine from the 'seed to the plate'. I believe we truly are what we eat!.
I have nearly 30 years of experience of working with Alternative Cuisines, which I have applied to Raw foods over the past 10 years.
I like to make any occasion a Taste Sensation - of amazing Organic Raw Gourmet food, things like Tikka Masala, Pizzas, Quiches, Mushroom Stroganoff, falafel, wraps, Borsch soup, crackers, salsas, chocolates, cakes, pastries and more.
I run my own catering company for Vegan Raw hikers and work with 2 other ladies locally at 'Cruda Ruda' (check out our page on Facebook). We have put on Raw food events over the last 7 years as well as for dance camps, festivals, yoga retreats and organised private parties and food events for other individual retreats.
I really enjoy meeting new people and am available for any questions about all aspects of raw food whilst am in the kitchen or during a Workshop and I look forward to meeting you.
